FAQs
Before You Buy
How long until my e-bike arrives?
Orders are processed within 48 hours and delivery within Germany typically takes 3–5 business days with DHL or UPS.
Where do you ship for free?
Free shipping covers all of Germany on orders over €100. We also deliver to selected EU countries — shipping is quoted at checkout.
Does the e-bike arrive assembled?
It arrives mostly assembled — only a few final steps (handlebar, pedals, front wheel) are needed, all described in the manual.
Do I need a license to ride?
Pedelecs with pedal assist up to 25 km/h are treated like bicycles in Germany — no license, registration or insurance plate required. Faster S-Pedelecs (up to 45 km/h) require an AM license, insurance plate and helmet. Always check the current StVZO rules for your model.
How long does the battery last?
With normal use, expect 3–4 years of service life. Losing 20–30% capacity after the first year of heavy use is within the normal range.
Is the e-bike water-resistant?
The battery is rated IP67 and the motor IP65 — fine for rain riding, but never submerge the bike or use a pressure washer.
Can I combine discount codes?
Only one coupon can be applied per order.
Can the rear rack carry a passenger?
No — racks are designed for cargo only. Carrying passengers is unsafe and not permitted.
How do I choose the right model?
Compare motor power, range, wheel size and rider height guidance on each product page, or ask our team for a recommendation.
After Your Purchase
My new e-bike will not turn on
Make sure the battery is fully seated and locked, press the power button on the remote/battery, then hold the display power button for 3 seconds.
The display will not start
Check that the battery is locked in place and that the display cable connector is firmly seated.
The motor cuts out on steep hills
On slopes steeper than about 15° the controller may briefly limit power to protect the motor from overheating — this is normal behavior.
The throttle is not responding
Note: in Germany, throttle operation above 6 km/h is restricted by law and may be disabled on EU-spec models. If a permitted throttle is not responding, check the display for error codes and inspect the cable connection.
The battery will not charge properly
A red light means charging; green means fully charged. If the light stays constant regardless of state, the charger may be faulty — contact support.
Error Codes
- 01 — brake sensor did not reset; readjust the sensor position.
- 02 — throttle over-tightened; loosen it slightly.
- 20 — no signal to the display; restart the display.
- 36 — motor cable fault; inspect the cable and connector.
- E010 — communication failure; reconnect the main cable and reset the display.
If an error persists, email us a photo of the code for diagnosis.
Accessories & Parts
How do I know if an accessory fits my model?
Compatibility is listed on each accessory page; when in doubt, ask our support team before ordering.
Can I use third-party accessories?
We do not recommend it — unapproved components can affect safety, StVZO compliance and warranty coverage. Check with us first.
I cannot find a spare part on the site
Not every part is listed online. Email us with your model and the part you need and we will arrange it.
